Course Purpose

This course equips learners with practical knowledge and applied skills in emerging cybersecurity technologies and digital forensics. Through a blend of readings, simulations, case studies, collaborative discussions, and structured bootcamps, learners develop the competency to identify and evaluate new security technologies, interpret malicious code activity, design cyber defense simulations, and grow professionally through hands-on forensic and security bootcamp experiences.

Course Learning Outcomes

CLO 1: Identify the principles, architectures, and applications of emerging cybersecurity technologies.

CLO 2: Analyse indicators of harmful or malicious activity and appropriate countermeasures using recognised threat intelligence frameworks.

CLO 3: Design a cyber defense simulation using structured modelling frameworks to prevent and respond to cyber attacks.

CLO 4: Evaluate professional growth through documented cybersecurity and digital forensics bootcamp activities.
