Course Content

Human Capital Concept:  Human Capital Development: overview of the skills and knowledge that are required for different job roles and the methods used to acquire and develop those skills. Managing Human Capital: strategies and tactics used to manage employees and develop their capabilities over time. People, Productivity, and Quality of Working Life: Overview of theories and practices related to employee engagement, well-being, and job satisfaction. Relationship between people, productivity, and quality of working life. Evaluation of Human Resources Management: Methods and tools used to evaluate the effectiveness of human resources management practices. Performance metrics, benchmarking, and continuous improvement approaches. Legal and Social Contexts of Personnel Decisions: Legal and social frameworks that govern personnel decisions, including employment law, diversity and inclusion, and ethical considerations. Analyzing and Designing Jobs: Job analysis, job design, and job evaluation. Human Resources Requirement: Process of identifying and forecasting the human resources needs of an organization, including workforce planning and succession planning. Recruiting, Screening, and Selecting Employees: Process of recruiting, screening, and selecting employees, including job postings, resume screening, and interviews for white collar and blue collar jobs. Training and Development: Training needs analysis, training design, and training evaluation.  Compensation Management: Design and administration of compensation and benefits programs, including salary structures, performance-based pay, and benefits packages. Costs and benefits of personnel activities and the international dimensions of human resources management.
