Statistical Quality control: Statistical quality control in manufacturing, Quality control data analysis.
Quality Assurance: Overview of quality assurance in ensuring customer satisfaction and business success, Methods for developing and implementing a quality assurance program in a manufacturing or service industry; The role of quality assurance in regulatory compliance and risk management.
Design Quality: Methods for measuring and assessing design quality, such as quality function deployment (QFD), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA). Case study of use of design quality in a manufacturing firm.
Total Quality Management: Principles and practices of Total Quality Management (TQM), Tools and techniques for implementing TQM, such as Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and Kaizen; The role of leadership in driving TQM and creating a culture of quality within an organization.
Quality Management Standards: ISO 9001:2015 quality management system standard: Overview, requirements, benefits, and implementation process.
Quality Economics: Costs and Benefits of Quality Control and Assurance, Reliability and Service Quality: Ensuring Product Performance and Customer Satisfaction.
Proactive and Reactive Quality Assurance and Control Techniques: Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA).
Certification as part of quality Assurance: Overview of certification and its importance in quality assurance, Certification process and requirements for obtaining and maintaining certification in quality assurance.
Quality Control Charts and Manuals: Types of Quality Control Charts, Control Chart Interpretation and Analysis. Tools for Continuous Improvement. Case study for use of quality control charts and manuals.
