Course Purpose
This course is designed to enable the application of knowledge, skills and attitudes in teacher education areas of specialization in a school context for professional and competences development. Teaching practice provides hands-on classroom experience, bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application.

Course Content
Teaching practice preparation and Planning: Overview of teaching practice, the purpose and aims, the requirements, Preparation of administrative teaching documents; Preparation for teaching cater for special learners, the role of stakeholders during teaching practice: Classroom Environment and classroom management; Behaviour Management, Time Management: Instructional strategies and resources; Teaching Methods, Use of Technology; integration of digital technology in learning. Assessment and Evaluation; assessment criteria, design e-portfolio, select appropriate type of rubric, identify the performance criteria, level of assessment: community service learning; identifying community service activities, integrating community service activities with the curriculum, community partnership, ethical consideration in community service, and Reflective journal; teaching practice experiences and T.P Assessment Tools (Appendix 1-V) in Module 11.
